In a collaborative effort to enhance fire service efficiency and improve emergency response capabilities, the City of Ashland, Jacksonville Fire Department, Fire Districts 1, 3, 4, and 5, Applegate Fire District, Evans Valley Fire District, and other Jackson County fire service partners are commissioning a Regional Fire Service Planning and Capacity Study.
This study will serve as an information-gathering initiative to analyze local fire service and explore improvements in regional emergency service delivery. It may offer recommendations but will not mandate implementation nor seek specific outcomes.
The study is made possible through an award from a Public Infrastructure and Economic Revitalization grant and will comply with Oregon public contracting requirements (ORS 279B) and federal procurement standards (2 CFR 200.319).
