Jackson County Fire District 3 is seeking qualified applicants to fill one vacancy on our Budget Committee.
This is a non-compensated appointment that will expire December 31, 2028.
Budget Committee members are expected to:
- Attend two to three meetings per year during the months of April through June
- Review, make recommendations, and approve the proposed budget
Any registered voter of the District, except officers, agents, or employees, can be considered for appointment. Applications can be obtained at the Administration Building at 8383 Agate Road, White City, or our website www.jcfd3or.gov. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on December 11, 2025. The Budget Committee consists of five (5) District registered voters that are appointed by the Board and serve a three (3) year term. The volunteer Committee members review the proposed budget, make recommendations, and approve the budget for the following fiscal year. The Board of Directors is responsible for adoption of the budget.
